The Niagara Area Business Association (NABA) recently presented checks at their monthly meeting to three Niagara organizations from funds raised from their Candlelight Snowshoe and Ski Event in February.
Jill Anderson of the Niagara Senior Center, Teresa Depas of Karen’s Food Pantry in Niagara, and Karen Klenke of the Niagara Historical Society each received checks for $250 for their respective organizations.
“We are currently low on many staple items in our pantry and this donation will help keep our pantry stocked for local residents,” said Teresa Depas of Karen’s Food Pantry.
“The Niagara Area Business Association is proud to support these organizations that promote and support our local residents and community. Even though the weather was not ideal for our event, we had a great turnout and the candlelight trails were breathtaking. This annual event allows us to support organizations like these and cover trail maintenance and grooming for the Niagara Riverside Trails,” said Daniel Freeman, president of NABA.Read more here!
